Intertek is seeking a skilled and certified Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II Inspector to support our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations in the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections using OpenVision RTR equipment. Manufacturer-provided training will be available.

Role Overview

As an RT Level II NDT Operator, you will be responsible for conducting radiographic inspections using OpenVision RTR systems to identify and evaluate potential CUI (corrosion under insulation). The role demands strong knowledge of RTR techniques and corrosion mechanisms, strict adherence to procedures, and a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and utilize the OpenVision RTR system to conduct radiographic inspections
• Conduct CUI inspections and apply knowledge of materials technology and corrosion mechanisms

• Follow defined testing procedures and industry standards to ensure high-quality results
• Accurately interpret inspection data and document findings in detailed reports
• Communicate results clearly and effectively with supervisors, engineers, and clients
• Perform regular calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment
• Mentor and oversee NDT Level I personnel during operations
• Ensure full compliance with radiation safety procedures, including boundary management, exposure monitoring, and reporting
• Carry out inspections in high-risk areas in accordance with safety protocols

Qualifications Required

• Valid RT Level II certification in accordance with EN ISO 9712 (NORDTEST)
  or PCN
• Valid Norwegian Radiation Protection or UK Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) certification
• Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written

Qualifications Preferred

• NS 415 certification
• IRATA Rope Access certification
• Prior experience in a process plant environment
• Other relevant backgrounds may be considered based on experience and NDT certifications
