Project Completion/Hook-Up Manager

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Completion/Hook-up Manager to lead the execution of offshore hook-up activities. The role will begin onshore at the Verdal yard, focusing on planning and readiness, and will continue with offshore hook-up execution from 06-11.2026.

Key responsibilities

Strategic planning and readiness

• Develop and maintain the hook-up execution strategy, including philosophy, method statements, and detailed plans.
• Minimize offshore work through onshore preparation and prefabrication.
• Prepare hook-up registers, material take-off lists, and logistics plans.

Execution management

• Lead offshore hook-up activities ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
• Coordinate with the Completion Manager to ensure seamless integration of all project phases.

Resource and logistics coordination

• Plan and manage human resources, including rotation schedules.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are staged at the Verdal yard and ready for offshore mobilization.

HSSE leadership

• Implement the zero-incident philosophy and barrier management principles.
• Maintain preparedness and compliance with HSSE standards.

Stakeholder participation

• Liaise with engineering, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure alignment.
• Report progress, risks, and mitigation measures to the project management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore hook-up within oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of constructability, logistics, and SIMOPS planning.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams during high-activity phases.
• Familiarity with HSSE standards and project execution models is an advantage.
• Fluent in Norwegian.
