The OEM Key Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners, specializing in ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System) and ECS (Electronic Chart System) market, relevant in the marine/navigation technology industry.
This role focuses on driving strategic growth through collaboration, ensuring alignment of goals, and delivering high-impact partnership outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a keen understanding of the OEM landscape, and a proven ability to manage long-term B2B relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with OEM partners to support strategic objectives

Identify new OEM partnership opportunities to expand market presence and product integration

Serve as the primary point of contact for OEM accounts, ensuring partner satisfaction and issue resolution.

Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing structures, and joint business plans

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, and operations) to deliver successful OEM initiatives.

Monitor market trends, partner performance, and competitive activity to inform strategy.

Represent the company at OEM meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

Create and deliver performance reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Track account performance, provide regular updates and forecasts, and ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Maintain knowledge of ECDIS/ECS technologies, IMO regulations, and marine industry trends
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marine Technology, Navigation Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Solid understanding of ECDIS and ECS systems, IMO compliance standards, and maritime operational environments.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical sales, negotiation, and contract management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across diverse global stakeholders.

Willingness to travel internationally to meet with OEM partners, attend exhibitions, and conduct field visits
Preferred Experience:

Industry-specific experience.

Experience in B2B relationship management

Experience in key account management, preferably in the marine electronics or navigation systems sector.
