The Operations standard and improvement department has the overall responsibility to set and develop the standards for efficient and safe operations onboard our different vessels around the world. Now we need to strengthen our capacity with a new, experienced member in our team.

Then you might be the MAINTENANCE ENGINEER we are looking for?

As our new Maintenance engineer you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing systems, procedures, efficiency and making "best practice" even better in the future. 

Some of the things you will be doing

  • Be part of the team that drive continuous improvement and harmonisation across the fleet
  • Provide advice and support onshore and offshore personnel within maintenance management
  • Support and facilitate operation with reliability, maintenance, and root cause analysis 
  • Improve the framework for maintenance management, processes, procedures 
  • Active participation in innovations and product development scope 
  • Support Altera digitalization initiatives
  • Deliver maintenance engineering during all stages of new projects and modification and ensure function requirements are properly delivered
  • Co-ordinate and take part in research and development activities within operation and maintenance management 
  • Work on standardization and alignment of the use of Star IPS across the fleet 
  • Perform regular visits to the FPSOs
  • Take part in development of specifications of maintenance functional requirements for new builds, conversions, and modification projects

What kind of background are we looking for?

  • You have a Bachelors or Masters degree within Maintenance Management or equivalent relevant education
  • Experience with technical safety and technical integrity, preferably from oil and gas-industry. 
  • Experience from working in projects
