About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong engineering background to enhance data delivery, quality, and management across EPC processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with combined domain expertise in offshore processes and IT/data engineering to contribute to high-impact projects within the petroleum industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions for assessing, monitoring, and improving data quality, particularly related to Life Cycle Information (LCI).
• Enhance data delivery across diverse and specialized systems.
• Communicate closely with customers to align on needs and manage demand.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory concerns, industry standards, and company specifications.
• Drive adoption of processes, specifications, and ways of working within the area of responsibility.
• Deliver services in a dedicated, professional, and collaborative manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in process or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT technologies, including: T-SQL, Azure Data Factory, REST API, C#, database modelling.
• Domain experience in offshore processes, conditions, and systems.
• Experience with LCI information/data management, usage, and demands.
• Good understanding of IT-related processes, systems, and EPC multidiscipline workflows.
• Regulatory competence in the petroleum industry.
• Strong conceptual understanding of IT solutions and their purposes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proactive across teams.
• Structured, analytical, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle changing priorities effectively.
