Petrolink is looking for an experienced Contract Lead to assist with ensuring the best commercial agreements by setting and realizing strategic directions and capitalizing on market opportunities. You will have an important and valued role as we handle important risk and influence agreements of great technical and commercial value.

Tasks
A Contract Lead is responsible for our client's procurement activities related to establish and manage agreements. The Contract Lead holds the mandate to legally commit the company to suppliers.
As Contract Lead you will take on strategic procurement responsibilities and challenging tasks through:
• Lead contract establishment
• Lead enquiry processes (strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation)
• Act as commercial leader in tender processes
• Implement and operationalize new agreements (frame agreements and single source)
• Manage existing agreements
• Shape our client's global contract portfolio through segment strategies together with business line and suppliers, drive change in contract relationship to maximize value
• Ensure contract compliance, identify and manage risk (safety, security, sustainability, commercial, financial, local requirements)
• Contribute to correct and optimal use of agreements, including procurement support and operational tasks
As Contract Lead you will conduct/facilitate strategic workshops, risk assessment, stakeholder management by working closely with the business line. You will be part of a global team with great colleagues based in Stavanger, Bergen, UK, US, Brazil among others.
Qualifications
We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:
• Bachelor/Master degree in supply chain management, finance, economics or law.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within contracting work.
• Solid supply chain and business understanding.
• Strong and fluent oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Project procurement experience
• Independent and flexible, with the ability to work within and lead multidisciplinary teams across the organization.
• Skilled in developing, utilizing and extending network of internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate high level of personal integrity and ethical awareness.
• Strategic and Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Have a 'searching for better' attitude and actively contributes to improving our work.
