Position: Full-Time Chef
Location: Home Hotel Aurora, Tromsø, Norway
Duration: Immediate start | Accommodation available during June and July
Language Requirement: Fluency in English

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present buffet-style meals for both breakfast and evening service, ensuring a variety of fresh and appealing options.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

• Work many shifts independently — you will often be the only chef on duty, responsible for the entire buffet preparation.

• Manage inventory and place orders with suppliers when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and best practices.

Who You Are:

• Experienced in kitchen operations, ideally within a hotel or buffet-style setting.

• Comfortable working independently and taking full responsibility for the kitchen during solo shifts.

• Organized, efficient, and able to maintain composure under pressure.

• Flexible with working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Fluent in English; other language skills are a plus.
