ILSETRA HOTEL
Are you a skilled chef who wants to work a full winter season surrounded by beautiful Norwegian mountains and ski slopes? Ilsetra Hotel is looking for a full-time chef for the winter season 2026, from January until around Easter.
You will be part of a small, dedicated kitchen team and will work on a shift schedule together with two other chefs. You will take part in the full daily operation including breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
Your responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch or dinner for hotel guests and groups
- Work with à la carte, buffet and 3-course menus
- Follow a rotating shift schedule together with the two other chefs
- Contribute to menu planning together with the head chef
- Ensure good routines for hygiene, cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen
- Assist with goods receiving, stock rotation and basic ordering
- Work closely with the rest of the team to deliver high-quality guest experiences

Who you are:
- Trained chef or have solid experience from professional kitchens
- Comfortable working in a busy service environment
- Experience with à la carte, buffet and 3-course service
- Responsible, structured and able to work independently
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Fluent in English (Norwegian is a plus, but not required)
- Valid Norwegian residence permit or EU/EEA citizenship
