Temp-Team avd. Bergen

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Automation & VTS Integration Manager to oversee the installation, integration, and commissioning of automation systems, including SCADA, PLCs, and instrumentation, for large-scale infrastructure projects.
The role requires a multidisciplinary approach, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of control systems and infrastructure integration.

Start date: approx. 15.08.2025
Duration: long-term project
Location: Bergen-Vest

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the installation and integration of instrumentation, control systems, and SCADA platforms.
  • Ensure automation systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and telecommunication teams for seamless system integration.
  • Review technical designs, functional specifications, and system architecture.
  • Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
  • Address technical challenges and implement timely solutions to meet project milestones.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols during installations.
  • Organize and lead weekly site progress and DABS meetings.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Technical education in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience with automation and SCADA systems in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, DCS, and SCADA software platforms.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and control devices used in infrastructure environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and functional documents.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent in English.
