Vard Brattvaag is now seeking a Production Planner for our Control of Production Department. Responsibilities as Production Planner in the project is to set up and update production schedules for the projects at the shipyard through the different phases of the project.

Duties and responsibilities
Production Planner has both a role as planner in the shipyards projects, and the responsibility for Workload and subcontractor management, and Reporting of production activities in the Control of Production (COP) department at the shipyard.
Responsibilities as Production Planner in the project is to set up and update production schedules for the projects at the shipyard through the different phases of the projects:
- Coordinate input, prepare and maintain outfitting and commissioning schedules.
- Monitor and report project status and hours consumption in accordance with plans and budgets.
- Coordinate activities, schedules and milestones with other parties involved in the overall project execution.
- Maintain and control the activities in ERP system.
- Participate in planning activities of potential new projects.
- Prepare load curves and other reports for line and project management.
- Setup and maintain databases as input for KPIs.
Qualifications
- The candidates should preferably have planning experience, preferably from the ship building industry and Primavera P6 Planning experience, but training will be given.
- Personal qualities are most important for us, but it is nice of you have relevant education in an engineering or technical discipline or experience from the shipbuilding industry.
- Our working languages are both Norwegian and English.
