We are seeking a dedicated waiter to join our team at Gjøa Sjømat. This is a full-time position (100%) starting in early June. You will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

🔍 What We Look For

• Enthusiasm for delivering excellent service and creating enjoyable experiences for guests
• Ability to work well in a busy, collaborative team environment
• Knowledge of our menu, including seafood and meat offerings, to guide guests effectively
• Experience in a similar role is preferred, but a passion for hospitality is essential
• Fluency in Norwegian or English

🎯 Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests thoughtfully and promptly
• Create unforgettable dining experiences for our patrons
• Ensure that the restaurant and back areas remain clean and fresh at all times
• Be a role model in restaurant operations and perform the same tasks as other staff
• Work with upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences
• Foster customer satisfaction through attentive service
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues in service, bar, kitchen, and other departments
• Handle payments accurately and responsibly
• Welcome guests and take orders with care
• Contribute to achieving department goals
• Maintain a positive work environment and strengthen teamwork with all staff
• Adapt to varying shift patterns, including breakfast, lunch, and evening service
