· Oversee and manage the daily kitchen operations of Peder Hiort Mathus including recruitment, training and supervision of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
· Monitor costs and budgets with a strong focus on labor costs and food costs, ensuring profitability
· Develop and refine menus with a focus on local ingredients and seasonal flavors
· Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
· Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
· Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
· Collaborate closely with restaurant manager to create special menus for events and promotions and collaborate to maintain a strong and thriving team environment
· Ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests
