We are looking for a skilled a la carte/hotel chef to join a hotel not far from Kristiansand.

As the hotel's cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food for our restaurant and bar, which are open every day. The menu ranges from simple dishes to full à la carte, and we also offer a self-composed menu for parties and weddings. You should have extensive experience in preparing and cooking a la carte dishes.

The restaurant is open every day and serves a large menu, from the simple to the full à la carte menu. They put great emphasis on food with roots in Norwegian food traditions and local food.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for food and cooking, as well as a strong knowledge of Norwegian food traditions and short-distance food. You should be able to work under pressure, be highly organized, and be able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

*Preparing and cooking food for the restaurant and bar, including à la carte dishes and party/wedding menus

*Ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and meet our guests' expectations

*Ordering and managing inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients

*Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen

Accommodation: 3000 NOK/month (studio apartment)

Food: Free on working days

Salary: 250.00-260 NOK/h

Average working hours is 162.50 / month

Sunday addition 29.74 NOK/Hour

Overtime addition 50.00 %

Saturday addition 29.74 NOK/Hour

Vacation addition 12.00 %

Night time addition 54.76 NOK/Hour

Evening time addition 15.65 NOK/Hour

National holiday addition 100.00 %

Overtime and vacation money will be paid at the end of the contract.
